Taiwanese gaming giant Asus has refreshed its gaming product lineup with the launch of new laptops featuring the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and the latest AMD Ryzen 6000 Series mobile processors in India. The new range of laptops include the ROG Strix Scar 15/17, ROG Strix G15/17, ASUS TUF F15/17 and TUF A15/17.
Pricing and availability
The Asus TUF A15 and A17 laptop range starts at Rs 1,09,990 and can be purchased from Amazon and Asus E-shop (online) and all offline stores from the third week of April, 2022.
The Asus TUF F15 starts at Rs 1,14,990 while the TUF F17 starts at Rs 1,35,990. Both the laptops are available from today at Amazon and Asus E-shop (online) and all offline stores.
The ROG Strix G15 comes at a starting price of Rs 1,06,990 while the ROG Strix G17 starts at Rs 1,02,990. They are available from today via Flipkart and Asus E-shop (online) and all offline stores.
The ROG Strix Scar 15 starts at Rs 2,64,990, while the ROG Strix Scar 17 starts at Rs 2,59,990. They are available from today via Amazon, Flipkart and Asus E-shop (online) and all offline stores.
ROG Strix Scar 15 and Strix Scar 17
The flagship Strix Scar 15 and Scar 17 come equipped with an Intel Core i9-12900H CPU, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU with MUX Switch, and DDR5 RAM. The dedicated MUX Switch is designed to reduce latency and further increase performance
The gaming laptops come with QHD 240Hz display, Dolby Vision HDR and Adaptive Sync. The Strix Scar comes with customisable Armour Caps and RGB lighting and supports USB Type-C charging. When charged using the supplied 280W power adapter, the Scar can recharge from 0% to 50% charge in just 30 minutes, claims Asus.
ROG Strix G15 and Strix G17
The ROG Strix G15 and Strix G17 comes powered by AMD Rembrandt up to R9-6900HX along with up to NVIDIA RTX 3070Ti graphics card. They come with ROG Intelligent Cooling and the Mux Switch.
Additionally, both 15-inch and 17inch displays offer users a choice to decide their preferred gaming screen. The Strix G series features two Smart Amp technology-equipped speakers and fast charge PD technology that can take the Strix G battery from 0% to 50% charge in just 30 minutes, claims the company.
Asus TUF A15/A17
Another addition to the TUF family is the new TUF A15/17 with military-grade durability. It comes equipped with AMD’s latest Ryzen 7 6800H processor and with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.
As per Asus, the Adaptive-Sync allows one to keep up with either a QHD 165Hz or FHD 300Hz panel. The TUF Gaming chassis has been redesigned for 2022 and is 4.5% smaller than the previous version. It houses a large touchpad with anime-inspired accents and four-way indicators to allow at a glance monitoring of key system information. The laptops come equipped with a pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans for up to13% more airflow.
Asus TUF F15 and TUF F17
The new Asus TUF F15/17 are powered by the latest 12th Gen Core i7-12700H CPU along with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. The laptops come equipped with real-time Ray Tracing and AI DLSS and also include the MUX switch.
