Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal attended events related to the International Women’s Day while several other top politicians were seen praying at holy places. And others were busy examining the arrangements related to the electronic voting machines (EVMs), where lie locked the key to their future destinies.
As the high voltage campaigning and polling to the five states ends and the results due on Thursday are being awaited, here is how top politicians spent their time.
Charanjit Singh Channi
Many exit polls are predicting a dismal performance for his party but the Punjab chief minister appeared rather unfazed. Channi, who takes pride in his ability to connect with the common man, was seen milking a goat in a village in Bhadaur area in the state’s hinterland.
In chaste Punjabi Channi can be heard telling those around that he has milked goats often.

Bhagwant Mann
The AAP leader is now being considered the favourite to occupy the chief minister’s chair after the results are out. He was busy examining the arrangements made to keep the EVMs secure. Like five years ago, exit polls have predicted a stellar performance by AAP in Punjab. Mann would be hoping the polls are spot on this time.

Yogi Adityanath
The UP chief minister was in his Gorakhpur bastion on Tuesday where he attended an event organised on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. Exit polls are suggesting that Adityanath will manage to pip Akhilesh Yadav for the chief minister’s position.
