Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) etc. Examination 2022, online through the official website – https://wbpsc.gov.in/. Applications can be submitted through online only. Candidates should note that the submission of more than one application by the same candidate is strictly forbidden and such applications are liable to cancellation.
As per the notice the preliminary examination will be held at various centres in Kolkata and in certain other districts in West Bengal tentatively in the month of MAY 2022.

- A degree of a recognized University.
- Ability to read, write and speak in Bangla (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
The candidates must fulfill the requisite qualifications by the closing date of submission of application.

WBCS Exe Examination 2022: Selection Procedure
The WBCS Exe Examination consists of two parts –
(1) Written Examination and
(2) Personality Test.
Written Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz.,
(i) Preliminary Examination (Objective MCQ Type) and
(ii) Main Examination (Both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type).
A number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Main Examination and a number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Main Examination will be called to appear at the Personality Test.
WBCS Exe Examination 2022: Scheme of the Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination will consist of only one paper, viz., a paper on “General Studies”. The paper will be of an objective type consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions. The paper will carry 200 marks and will be of 2½ hours duration. The standard of the paper will be of the level of knowledge as expected of a graduate of any faculty of a recognized University. Step 2: Complete “ONE TIME REGISTRATION”, the link is given in the RHS of the homepage
Step 3: Fill in the required details to get the registration number & password.
Step 4: Click on “Login if Already Registered” and submit the registration number, password, and captcha code.
Step 5: Enter education qualification, age, and other details required in the WBCS Application Form.
Step 6: Pay the requisite application fee through online mode.
Step 7: Submit the Application and download a copy of WBCS Application Form for future reference.
