DJ Mister Cee passed away on April 10, 2024. He was just 57 years old at the time of his death. While talking to AllHipHop, his family revealed the cause of his death to be coronary artery/kidney disease, which was related to diabetes. He is survived by his niece, sister, and brother-in-law.

Mister Cee career’s big break came when he worked with Big Daddy Kane as his DJ in the 1980s. In 1988, he was guest featured on Big Daddy Kane’s debut album, Long Live the Kane.
