• He produced 33 movies as a movie producer in the Malayalam film industry.
• Not just a producer but Gandhimathi Balan was also a distributor for many well-known movies like Malootty, Irakal, Thoovanathumbikal, Manivathoorile Aayiram Sivarathrikal and Adaminte Vaariyellu.
• Other than producing movies, Balan along with his daughter Sowmya founded a cyber-forensic startup company by the name of “Alibi”.
